Known for their historical significance and cultural richness, these locations offered a captivating blend of learning and leisure. Bagerhat’s architectural marvel—the Sixty Dome Mosque—captured the awe of every team member with its centuries-old charm.

Khulna added flavor—both literally and figuratively—with its famed culinary gem, Chui Jhal mutton from Abbas Hotel in Chuknagar, a regional delicacy loved across Bangladesh. And the breathtaking views of the Rupsa Bridge, both from above and below, added a spectacular visual touch to the trip.

Beginning the Adventure from Dhaka

The team set out early, departing Dhaka at 6:00 AM with energy in full swing.

After a delightful breakfast in Old Dhaka, they resumed their journey toward Bagerhat by 8:30 AM. By 11:30 AM, the group arrived and began their tour with the awe-inspiring Sixty Dome Mosque.

Afterwards, we visited Khan Jahan Ali Majar and meandered through bustling local markets, indulging in handcrafted goods and mouthwatering regional snacks.

After exploring the Sixty Dome Mosque, we bathed in a nearby pond.

We swam and had a lot of fun together in the water.

Afterward, we performed our Zuhr prayer at the mosque.

Then we stepped out, bought some coconuts, and enjoyed the refreshing drink.

Sing-Along Fun and Scenic Routes

Post sightseeing, the excitement escalated aboard the team bus. As the bus rolled toward Chuknagar for lunch, it turned into a musical fest—team members singing, sharing playlists, and laughing wholeheartedly. The team bonding on the bus, rich with joy and music—proved just as impactful as the landmarks themselves.

Crossing the Rupsha Bridge offered a scenic highlight, culminating in their arrival at Abbas Hotel at 3:30 PM, where hunger and excitement met their match.

Lunch was nothing short of legendary.

Many on the team were experiencing authentic Chuijhal mutton for the first time, and the reaction was unanimous—pure culinary delight.

Post-lunch, the journey continued toward Mawa via the Jessore-Narail-Dhaka route.

A charming tea break at Jessore’s Monihar Cine Complex was a pleasant surprise.

The team snapped selfies in front of the iconic cinema, enjoyed snacks, and refreshed for the final leg of the journey.

At Lokkhipasha Bazar in Narail, the team made a pit stop to sample the area’s famous sweets. From Muslim Sweets to assorted local delicacies, team members sampled and bought treats to take home, keeping the flavors of Narail alive in their hearts and kitchens.

The final culinary chapter unfolded at Nirala Hotel in Mawa, where the team gathered for a much-anticipated Hilsha dinner.

Thanks to the careful planning of the tour organizer Omar Faruk, four large Hilsha fish were ordered and fried to perfection.

While waiting, the team enjoyed riverside chats, stargazing by the Padma River, and some light-hearted “adda.”

The dinner that followed was nothing short of divine—a fitting end to a day woven with culture, connection, and celebration.

After dinner, the team boarded the bus home, arriving safely in Dhaka around 1:00 AM. The ride was quieter, marked by tired smiles, sleepy conversations, and the warm satisfaction of a day well spent. From morning to midnight, every moment built new bonds, new memories, and a deeper appreciation for the journey they are on—both as individuals and as a team.
